JF ACADEMY PRIVACY POLICY

Jonathan Fowler Media LLC (“JF Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, and protected when you interact with JF Academy, its websites, funnels, membership systems, coaching services, communications, and related services.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Depending on how you interact with JF Academy, we may collect information including:
Account and Contact Information: • Name • Email address • Account identifiers • Membership status • Login/authentication information
Membership and Transaction Information: • Membership plan • Trial status • Subscription status • Billing cadence • Transaction and payment status • Relevant payment/customer identifiers
JF Media does not need to store complete payment-card numbers when payments are processed through third-party payment processors such as Stripe.
Academy Activity: • Coaching tracks • Assignments • Assignment completion • Progress • Milestones • Check-ins • Coach Actions • Resource interactions • Resource acknowledgments • XP or other participation information
Communications: • Emails sent or received • Support requests • Coaching communications • Notification status • Relevant delivery and engagement information
Technical Information: Depending on the systems used, we may receive information such as browser/device information, IP address, timestamps, page activity, authentication events, and security logs.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
JF Media may use information to:
• Create and maintain JF Academy accounts; • Provide purchased membership access; • Administer free trials and recurring memberships; • Authenticate users; • Deliver Academy content and resources; • Track member progress; • Provide coaching and support; • Send transactional and membership communications; • Provide trial and billing notices; • Prevent duplicate or unauthorized access; • Protect member and system security; • Troubleshoot technical issues; • Maintain business and transaction records; • Improve JF Academy; • Comply with legal obligations.
3. PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payments may be processed through Stripe or other payment processors.
Payment processors receive and process payment information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
JF Media may receive information such as payment status, subscription status, customer identifiers, invoice information, trial dates, renewal information, and limited payment-method details necessary to administer memberships.
4. SYSTEME.IO
JF Media may use Systeme.io for functions including sales funnels, checkout workflows, customer/contact records, tagging, membership communications, automation, and email campaigns.
Information submitted through relevant JF Academy funnels or forms may therefore be processed through Systeme.io.
5. SUPABASE AND ACADEMY INFRASTRUCTURE
JF Academy may use Supabase and related infrastructure for authentication, member profiles, membership permissions, Academy progress, coaching interactions, notifications, and other application functionality.
Access controls are used to limit members to information and functionality appropriate to their accounts.
6. EMAIL AND COMMUNICATIONS
JF Media uses email and automation services to provide communications including:
• Account and login instructions; • Welcome communications; • Membership information; • Coaching information; • Resource notifications; • Trial and billing notices; • Support communications.
Transactional communications necessary to administer an active account may continue even where optional marketing communications have been declined, where permitted by law.
7. ZOOM AND LIVE COACHING
JF Academy uses video-conferencing services such as Zoom for live coaching and training.
Registration for or participation in those sessions may provide information to the video-conferencing provider and to JF Media.
JF Academy group coaching sessions, workshops, trainings and other member meetings may be officially recorded by Jonathan Fowler Media LLC or its authorized representatives for educational, archival, quality-control and member Resource Library purposes. Recordings may include attendees' images, voices, questions, comments and other contributions. Approved recordings may be made available to members through the Academy Resource Library after human review. JF Academy may edit, withhold or decline to publish a recording. Please avoid sharing confidential, proprietary, sensitive or personal information you do not wish to appear in an official recording. Member recording, transcription, automated summaries, automated meeting attendance and third-party meeting-capture tools require prior written authorization from Jonathan Fowler Media LLC, as described in the Membership Terms.
8. COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL PLATFORMS
JF Academy may provide access to third-party community services, including private social-media groups.
Participation in those services is subject to the privacy practices and terms of the applicable platform.
Information you voluntarily post in a group or community may be visible to other members of that community.
9. WOWMI
JF Media provides independent education, coaching, consulting, implementation, onboarding, and related services involving the WOWMi platform.
JF Academy and WOWMi are separate services.
JF Media retains rights in its own pre-existing audience, coaching customers, independent prospects, marketing lists, and CRM data that did not originate from WOWMi.
WOWMi controls data relating to WOWMi customer accounts, subscriptions, product usage, billing, account administration, platform engagement, support, retention, analytics, and enterprise relationships.
Where JF Media is authorized to receive information for these services, it will use that information only for the authorized service purposes and apply commercially reasonable safeguards.
Your use of WOWMi is also subject to WOWMi’s own privacy practices and terms.
10. SERVICE PROVIDERS
JF Media may share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate JF Academy and related business functions.
These may include providers of:
• Payment processing; • Website/funnel hosting; • Database and authentication infrastructure; • Email delivery and automation; • Video conferencing; • Community platforms; • Analytics; • Customer support; • Security and technical infrastructure.
We do not authorize service providers to use JF Academy information for unrelated purposes except as permitted by their agreements with us or applicable law.
11. LEGAL AND SAFETY DISCLOSURES
JF Media may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
• Comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or legal process; • Protect JF Media’s legal rights; • Investigate fraud or security incidents; • Protect users or others from harm; • Enforce applicable agreements.
12. SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
JF Media does not sell personal information for money.
If our data practices change in a way that creates additional rights under applicable privacy laws, this Privacy Policy will be updated and required choices will be provided.
13. DATA SECURITY
JF Media uses commercially reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information.
No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Members are responsible for protecting their own account credentials and should promptly report suspected unauthorized account access.
14. DATA RETENTION
JF Media retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
• Maintain an active membership; • Provide Academy services; • Maintain business and transaction records; • Resolve disputes; • Prevent fraud or abuse; • Meet contractual and legal obligations.
Information may be deleted, anonymized, or retained for longer periods where required or permitted by law.
15. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include requesting access, correction, deletion, or information about how your data is processed.
You may also unsubscribe from optional marketing communications using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in those communications.

16. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
JF Academy is intended for adults and business professionals and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13.
17. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
JF Academy communications and resources may link to third-party websites or services.
JF Media does not control the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their policies before providing information directly to them.
18. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy as JF Academy, our technology, or applicable requirements change.
The current version and effective date will be posted on this page.
